Subject	Hard start and rough idle

Message	I started my car the other day, it ran for about 1 second stated hesitating then died. I then tried starting it again and it didnt want to start. Today i hooked up the fuel gauge to test fuel pressure. It started, the first time and read 35psi on the gauge and when unplugging the pressure reg it read about 44psi in spec. It also was running smooth. Any ideas of what could cause this. Please write back thanks
